Dr. Brian McAlister serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the NCETE UW-Stout site. His program area is technology education, having been a teacher educator in that field for 14 years. He directs one of the largest Technology Education masters degree programs in the United States. His primary research interest includes the interaction of technology and society. He has also published in the area of authentic assessment. Dr. McAlister teaches undergraduate and graduate professional teacher education courses in the areas of curriculum, methods and assessment. He also teaches graduate courses related specifically to contemporary issues in technology education.
