DR. DANIEL L. HOUSEHOLDER
VISITING PROFESSOR, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION

Dr. Householder serves as Co-Principal Investigator of NCETE. He is also a Visiting Professor in the College of Technology at Purdue University and an educational consultant. He has been a program officer at the National Science Foundation and recently served as PI of an Advanced Technological Education project based at Hofstra University. He is a former faculty member at Iowa State University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Illinois and has held visiting faculty positions at the University of New Brunswick, Southern Illinois University, the University of Puerto Rico, and St. Cloud State University. He began his career as a teacher in the public schools of North Carolina, Illinois, and New Jersey. Dr. Householder has served as president of the International Technology Education Association, president of the Council on Technology Teacher Education, and chair of the Mississippi Valley Technology Teacher Education Association. He has received Outstanding Alumni awards from the College of Education at the University of Illinois and the School of Technology of Eastern Illinois University.
