Dr. Wicklein serves as Principal Investigator for the NCETE UGA site. He has extensive experience in designing and developing instructional materials for technology education and is recognized as a national leader in that field. His primary research focus applies directly to the design of appropriate technological solutions for sustainable development. He has published studies related to mental processes used by technologists in problem solving and is currently principal investigator for an NSF - Bridges for Engineering Education grant.
