Dr. Gattie serves as Senior Personnel for the NCETE UGA site. He has expertise in simulation and modeling of biodegredation/transformation rates of chemicals in aquatic systems and environmental parameters affecting these rates. In addition, he works in the area of mathematical modeling of the effects of temperature, moisture, and other environmental parameters on methane production/consumption in sediments and soils. Dr. Gattie teaches in the area of environmental engineering at the University of George and serves this project in the area of connecting technology education with engineering.
