Dr. Steve Shumway serves as Senior Personnel for the NCETE BYU site. His program area is technology education, having been a teacher educator in that field for 12 years. He has served as an ITEA National Standards Consultant for the implementation of the National Standards for Technological Literacy. His research has focused on student motivation, learning theory, and instructional methods in technology education. As a high school teacher in the late 1980's he integrated engineering concepts and methods into his technology education classes.
