Yong Zeng
Yong Zeng studied mechanical engineering at BAEU, where he received the First Prize Scholarship for four consecutive years. Upon graduating, Yong was the valedictorian for mechanical engineering. He worked for one year with Beijing SJS, a high pressure vessel manufacturer and as a computer engineer for four years with both Coinet Technology and I-Channel Electronics. In 2001, he moved to Canada where he spent three years working for Power Industry as a computer systems engineer. While there, Yong developed an interest in technical training, and in 2004 began an MS in technology education at the University of Illinois. His aspirations are to become a researcher and a teacher educator, in order to better prepare future technology teachers to teach engineering.
