Martin Westrick
Martin Westrick graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in industrial technology and an MS in training and development technology. Martin was employed as a technical trainer for a greeting card and gift-wrap manufacturer. He later transferred to manufacturing operations and was promoted to Vice-President of Greeting Card Operations. As a master’s student, he worked as a research assistant on the Integrated Math, Science, and Technology Curriculum project. Martin is pursuing his PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is teaching technology at Illinois State University. He wishes to continue teaching in a technology related field that supports integrating math, science, and engineering concepts with technology; and conduct research related to using instructional technology as a mechanism to facilitate high levels of learning, problem identification, and problem solving.
