Leah Roue

Leah Roue received an AAS degree in architectural drafting and estimating from Dunwoody Institute and a BAS degree from Bemidji State University in industrial technology with an emphasis in construction management. She spent almost three years in industry managing and estimating small scale commercial projects and aiding with larger projects. Leah went back to school to get her MS degree in technology education from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Her thesis topic, young women’s perceptions of technology and engineering, led to a grant awarded by the National Science Foundation. While working on the grant and her thesis Leah started teaching architectural design and estimation at Dunwoody College of Technology. She has since completed her MS degree and resigned at Dunwoody after 2½ years to start her PhD at the University of Minnesota.
