Edward Locke Edward Locke graduated from California State University, Northridge in industrial product design. He completed an MA in industrial technical studies at California State University, Los Angeles. While there he also took some mechanical engineering courses. Edward received a certificate of competency in computer animation at El Camino College. He won an honorable mention award at the 1993 GoldStar International Design Competition for designing an innovative and ecologically-friendly multi-functional food processor. He taught engineering graphics and computer-aided-drafting as a part-time instructor for six years at Santa Ana College in Orange County. Edward was an active adopter of new technology at his school. He conducted substantial research on the application of three-dimensional modeling technology in the solution of mechanical engineering related descriptive geometry problems, with an emphasis on sheet metal design, which resulted in the completion and online publication of his first college level engineering text book. Edward is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Georgia. |
