Jenny Daugherty is an Assistant Professor in the Technology Leadership & Innovation Department in the College of Technology at Purdue University. Dr. Daugherty received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and was a doctoral fellow with the National Center for Engineering and Technology Education. Her research focuses on the design of technology and engineering professional development, particularly spanning high school teacher education to workforce education. Dr. Daugherty has worked on several nationally funded projects and has published several manuscripts in the Journal of Technology Education, the International Journal of Technology and Design Education, and the Journal of Technology Studies. She is actively involved in the International Technology and Engineering Education Association and the Council for Technology Teacher Educators. She is also a member of Epsilon Pi Tau. The title of her dissertation is Engineering-oriented professional development for secondary level teachers: A multiple case study analysis.
